Kato Indian Creation Legend
   In an island above the waters lived Tcenes. He rescued a child, Nagaitco, who was floating on the branch of a tree, and he grew up to be the first man. One day a woman and a dog came to the island, the three of them sailed away to the mainland to become the ancestors of the tribe.
